Bright On: Shay Mitchell Outfit Inspiration

I've never noticed before how trendy Shay Mitchell dresses off set, they always put her into really casual clothes you would wear around the house on PLL. I don't follow celebrities though, so I guess that may be the reason why.
She wore this lovely ensemble out to an event, not sure where or when but it would have been recently judging by colours and cuts. I didn't go online shopping, my bank balance had a nice relaxing weekend, but I did go online window shopping to find some lovely pieces similar to the ones Shay was wearing in that photo. Here's the end result:

I was originally going to name this "Shay Mitchell Look For Less" but the shorts and blazer were a little bit too expensive for it to be called cheap! Eep, they were both nearing the $85 price mark each. I can't say they don't look good, but I probably wouldn't spend that much if I can find cheaper alternatives offline. Call me cheap, but I just don't wear most pieces in my wardrobe enough for me to pay that much for them :(.
Putting whatever else aside, these pieces are rocking pretty, and they scream right now. The neon colours are really trending right now, they look amazing with simple black and white, and if you're like me you'll love to mix it up with the boring black phase I've fallen into over winter.
Black is out, neon is in, and it looks amazing with white, really gives it that pop of colour you need for springtime...that is if you live here in Australia. I was getting so sick of winter towards the end of it, but these last few days it has been so nice and sunny that I've completely forgotten about all my worries.
This outfit is great for pre-summer, you can team it with some skin coloured stockings and you're good to go.
Even though Shay didn't have a clutch with her, I thought I would go that extra bit of length. I found this clutch in store at Colette about a week ago and I really liked the bright yellow/lime and how the style of the hardware went so well with the bright pop of colour. Your screen may be fooling you when you see yellow! That clutch is actually a lime/yellow shade, but it looks super pretty and on trend so even if you end up ordering it online I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
I wanted to attach a nice bracelet and ring combo, but the picture was getting a little too crowded already, diddums. You get the idea though :) I probably would've teamed it with a nice rose gold ring pack and simple studded bracelet, as you can mix your rose golds in with your golds, it will look pretty and on trend. I love mixing my metals!

I hope you all like this bright copy cat outfit! I tried to find really similar pieces, that's why I couldn't name it a Look For Less, but I still think it looks great.

Have a lovely day girls and guys :)

Flowers 'Blossom', even in Winter

I always venture on Facebook to find new and exciting stores to be inspired by, to shop from, or to just recommend to friends. In saying this, a couple of months ago I bumped into a little FB store called 'Blossom' ran by a lovely university student. She hand makes amazing vintage look head bands, but I would rather call them hair pieces as they are so delicate and beautiful.

You know when you see a piece of clothing or accessory, and you can tell that they were made with love? Well whenever I see a piece made by her I can tell she really puts effort and love into every bit of it! I hope she doesn't get upset at me for posting her pictures (and I hope it's legally allowed, eep).

The floral head piece trend has been around for a while, yes, but I think her pieces are just so different and one of a kind. I love stores like Blossom, as they're small and inventive. It's always stores like this that make me take that second glance at them and buy things. Although I haven't bought anything from her yet (due to my lack of job, I am confident that she makes quality products by the customer feedbacks she receives. For international readers I'm not entirely sure if she posts world-wide, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
I was just going to post a bunch of pictures of pieces that she's posted on Facebook but they really don't do justice of how great they really look until you see it on someone.

I haven't written a post like this before, although I think I'm going to from now on. It's important for these
small home based, hand made stores to receive good advertisement as these are the ones that keep our (Australian) economy running and they're honestly so much more inventive, one of a kind and different than chain stores. It's difficult for a small store to stay in business for a long time, as large chain stores usually have more advertisement. They give your outfit more character, and people will no doubt stop you to ask where you got that interesting piece you have on from. These stores also inspire me to be more creative, to keep on sewing.

If you would like to find Blossom on Facebook just click here and a window will open up with all her goodies! Make sure to like like like :), also here is her Big Cartel Store, where you can also buy pieces from. She also sells at the Young Designer Markets in Southbank Brisbane on Saturday mornings, so if you can get there make sure you check these pieces out in person.

That's all for today, ciao for now :) <3

Ps. I was not in any way asked to or endorsed to write about Blossom, I did it just because I genuinely love her designs :)

My undying love for Lauren Conrads Style

I honestly think Lauren Conrad is underrated, and even bashed on by online critics unnecessarily. She's so pretty, with great style (without showing too much skin) and she's never one of those celebs that get locked up for drink driving or anything. I loved her in Laguna Beach and The Hills, Whitney leaving that show was one thing, but when Lauren left I stopped watching it altogether. Lauren has always been a style inspiration to me, as she has such a romantic, girly style.
When I heard she is designing clothes I got butterflies because I was so excited to see what she has to share with the world! I haven't bumped into an online store that sells her clothes and sends them to Australia yet though. I just bumped into a Teen Vogue link to a Summer 2012 collection by her for Kohl's. I haven't heard of this brand yet (I'm guessing it's not the cosmetics brand she's doing a line for anyway hehe), but I like what I see so far. Especially because this line was done by LC. There are a lot of pastels in these clothes, and I love love love! She models them too, and she has such a lovely smile how can you not love the clothes?!
The whole photoshoot has an 'afternoon tea party' feel to it. It's so sweet, and girly.
I'm especially loving the mint trousers, they're such a lovely fit and also a really trendy colour this season. The floral shorts in picture 4 also caught my eye, it's such a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe, you can dress it down or up.
I wasn't sure whether the blue dress in picture 3 was something I would wear, but then I thought about it and it's definitely on my wish list! If you read ahead, I also found the link as to where you can purchase any of these pieces for (hint hint: they're on sale right now, yay). I just hope they post to Australia, my biggest barrier when online shopping is that the good places never post to where I live.
This maxi dress made my jaw drop! I love the fishtail detail and it's just so pretty altogether. Lauren has such great style, it's really great that we are now able to get a piece of her style in our wardrobes!
I'm not a really big fan of the jewellery, it all looks a little 'beachy' to me, with the beads and the type of flowers but who knows they might grow on me as well.
The heels are quite nice, but  they're nothing overly original, still something I would wear though.
I love the whole feel of picture 9, it's so sweet, they really nailed it with the hair as it gives it that whole 'LC' feel to it. The rest of the clothes were so sweet, romantic, and there are versatile pieces that you could either dress down or up.
If you're wondering where you can get a piece of Lauren Conrads' style into your wardrobe here's the link:
Shop 'LC' by Lauren Conrad
They're quite affordable, compared to prices here, but it all depends where you live. I just checked and they don't ship to international addresses, only to the U.S., which is so depressing as no good stores ship here or if they do their shipping costs something ridiculous like $70-$150.

I hope you like Laurens' line just as much as I do, and make sure to let me know if you purchased anything, I would love to see these pieces on. You can post pictures to All-the-Pretty-Goodness FB page , I set it up a few days ago so it's quite new but nevertheless make sure to like away, and send to your girl friends to like too!
Have a splendid day :)

Sequins, glitter and all things pretty

I must admit that I am obsessed with glitter, sequins, shiny things right now! I was browsing through eBay tonight, and I bumped into this amazing gold sequin top, which in my opinion was so over priced considering that it was going to be shipped over from a factory in China and was going to cost me $50 with postage.
Then I had an amazingly DIY idea, why not make my own? I could probably buy a simple top similar to that one, and just sew the sequins on. I hardly have any time right now because my finals for subjects at uni are coming up :( but what do they always say?
"You only make time for what you want to make time for."
Therefore even if I don't get to work on it too much I'll try finish it over the next month :) I figured if I posted an entry about it I'm bound to commit to it and get cracking on it! I just need inspiration I think :) so I've gathered a few photos, including the actual top I was going to buy ;) but to avoid any discrimination I won't tell you guys which one it is :)
Most of these, I just Google-d so they're completely random and just ones I saw and loved so I saved pictures. Number 1 caught my eye first, it's casual...but not too casual. Does that make sense? I could wear it to uni during the day, or even out to dinner...or if I was to dress it up a little more I could even wear it out clubbing. Looks like a dress with a lot of potential! But since we're girls, we hardly ever use our clothes to their full potential.
Three is just simply amazing, I fell in love the second I saw it. I want it, better yet, I need it!
What I'm planning on DIY-ing is very similar to number 5 that's why I saved that one :)
How interesting is 6? It would be a toughy to wear, but I still like it. It's an interesting piece, something you would see on the rack and think "hmm, yes or no?" but then you try it on and you like it.
Number seveeeen! It's so original, I bet it was a vintage piece :) can't get stuff like that unless you pay some ridiculous price for it, either way it's beautiful and individual. I love cardies, but this goes beyond any cardie I've ever owned. Simply beautiful! It could transform an average outfit into a head-turning-jaw-dropping phenomenon.

Sequins.. glitter.. sequins.. glitter! I love it :D I see so much on tumblr as well. I've been obsessed with all things glittery and shiny for a while now, but I think my tumblr addiction has added another lot of obsession onto that (along with my hello kitty obsession, oh gosh).

I'm going to end this post with this pretty little outfit. It's a little out there , I know! But for the sake of this shoot, whatever it was for, I think it goes really well. I'm in love with both pieces of clothing. I would love to find out where they were from, unfortunately I didn't think of that last night when I was searching for these pictures :(.

Hoping you all have a splendid Friday :) xoxo

PS, I have my BellaBox coming in the mail this week coming (jumping up and down on the inside right now hehe), if you have absolutely no clue what I'm yapping on about please proceed to opening a new tab and google it :P. They have something similar in America as well (except they get full sized products and not samples), and I'm quite excited. I shall post about it when it arrives! Ciao for now :)

Versace Resort 2012

Donatella, I bow in front of you.
I can say that more than 3/4 of this collection says "ME". These pieces are so chic! Don't you agree? Especially the white mini dresses with the colourful patterns of them, they're so colourful, summery, but they look clean! I love going out in a white, it looks amazing and I feel so clean and fresh. I fell in love with this collection the second I saw the first piece :) I sure didn't need convincing. This collection is like ice cream on a hot day with whipped cream and two cocktail cherries on top (because one is never enough). Words cannot describe how yummy it is :)

My most favourite one is.........
Ta-daaa! This little beauty was head to head against the other white dress, that has the green, blue, black, and mustard pattern from halfway down. This was my fave because it's just so chic, summery (I love love love summer, but who doesn't?!) and the cut of it is so individual. When I saw this one, I felt like a little girl, let out a little squeal and went back to my first reaction, the dropping of my jaw. The belt and shoes break the dress up a bit in my opinion (in a good way of course). The belt was necessary I think, simply to emphasize her waist just the right amount. Designers are really cheeky...did you see the shoes she's wearing? I don't think I would go into my wardrobe and team those shoes with that dress, it looks really good but I just wouldn't think to pair it.
Jewelery is minimal, which in my opinion looks great for this shoot but I may have put a gold bangle on the model but left the neck area without any jewellery.

I love dresses that make my hips and waist look curvy and feminine! So naturally, this made my jaw drop. I can sort of see a fashion emerging from this dress, if you've seen body suits and leggings by Black Milk they have the skeleton patterns on it. I'm not sure if this is what Donatella was going for, but to me it feels like it. There is no other dress a woman can feel sexy in other than a body hugging sweetheart neckline strapless dress. That's just my opinion though. This piece would definitely be a showstopper anyone, just as must as the rest of the collection (and if I saw correctly, the black parts have sparkles on them and omg I love sparkly garments right now).

These were my two faves of the collection but I could go on and on and on.....
Those pants look like they were drawn into the picture! So amazing, I love these. The interesting neckline just works so well with it, there is definitely nothing ordinary about this dress. I wish I could just try one of these pieces on :(, I'll probably never get to though.

I hope I inspired some of you to open a new tab, go on Google and search some more of the collection because it truly is amazing. Have a lovely day ladies :) xoxo

Back...for good this time

The other day someone very smart said to me "you make time for what you want to make time for", and to be honest I've been making up excuses as to why I don't just sit down here and make a post already! I have so much to talk about, so much to tell the world. I have tried other, what I thought easier means of getting my thoughts out there about the topic I love the most...fashion of course :), but they just didn't work out. I thought about YouTubing, I got so inspired by some people on there that I wanted to do the same but my little digital camera is just not up for it :P. Either way, I liked writing, editing was just too much for me it was so complex amd I had no idea how to do it. I wrote this all in a flat half a minute, so you can just tell how much I needed to write.
Anyways, back to my big news! It wasn't so much big news as much as me being excited on working on new projects. I have a friend, a lovely friend, who happens to be an aspiring photographer and she asked me to style one of her photo shoots and of course I accepted the offer (I would've been silly not to). I had to use my wardrobe, but that wasn't too bad, it made me realise how many times I haven't worn some of the items hiding in there. I dressed both girls head to toe in my clothes, it was pretty fun but I didn't imagine that an amateur styled shoot would take this much effort to plan.

Now...for the pictures ;)
My inspiration for this outfit was a  weekend road trip somewhere beachy. Byron Bay? If you're not from Australia and you don't know where that is, make sure you google it because it's worth a look :) and a visit! I love the necklace I teamed with the dress, I've had the dress way before I got the necklace and whenever I wore it, it felt a little empty as if it needed something extra, and I found it! Finally :) The bag I got while I was in Europe thinking I would wear it heaps, but I never get the chance to, I've probably only worn it about twice in the last 8 months. It's a lovely bag, but it never fits my uni stuff into it :(
The wedges I paired with this outfit I was completely in love with the second I saw them, firstly because it was just perfect nothing over the top but nothing too plain either (if you saw the back of it you would know what I mean), and secondly because they only cost me $17.50 :O and I'm always up for a bargain when I'm strapped for cash. The bracelet you see on the model was handmade for me by a lovely friend back in Europe :) I love it, and I've paired it with so many of my outfits, it's a simple wooden bangle wrapped in a thick white crotchet ribbon.

Our second model had a completely different vibe to her, she was a little more delicate a little more shy, therefore I decided to put her into more romantic and vintage clothes. I love this outfit! I got the top from my best friend for my birthday, and I wore it out that night to dinner with a pretty high waisted skirt :) you can't see properly but it has a lovely pearl detailing at the top. These shorts are also from the same shop (forever new, my weakness!) and the 'belt' was originally bought as a necklace about a year ago now :P, I put the same shoes on her as I did with the previous outfit, how clever?! :) Our hair stylist never showed up to the shoot, without any notice and we couldn't even reach her mobile so I had to make do with what we had. By that meaning, we had no combs or bobby pins, and we didn't think we had any hair ties. So, with my trusty YouTube knowledge I did a side braid which actually started from the other side of her head all the way down :) I wear this hairstyle heaps actually, it's my go to when I woke up way too late or I just want to give my hair a break from any heat styling. The pearls I paired with this outfit were a birthday present I got from my mum this year, aren't they sweet? I already had a pearl necklace, but a girl can never have enough pearls...or gold, or diamonds for that matter ;)

This outfit was shot last, and we really rushed the photos because our model had to go to work :( she already had to be late because of this. As much as we rushed it they turned out really well! I love this outfit, I wasn't sure if I was pushing it with the necklace, but afterall the look I was going for was really blingy and out there. Colour-blocking was a huge trend this season, and I wanted to elaborate on that. I always see girls colour-blocking but they always have the most minimal jewellery on it. I wouldn't wear the necklace out with the clothes but in the shots they looked really well :), the top...okay so let me just explain that we had some problems with this top. It's a size 6, as it's mine..and the model is a size 10! Lucky I took safety pins with me, so the model (and my top) lived on after this shoot.

I had so much fun with this photo shoot, and I think I get to style another one next weekend. We haven't figured out any models yet, but we have a few girls and boys in mind :). I have a fair few new pieces to my wardrobe since then, as winter has let us know that it's back and here to stay for a little while :(. My time spent on eBay have gone up (I haven't realised how many good deals there are on there until now), and the temperature has decreased. I love summer! I hope I'll somewhat enjoy this weather with my new forever new coat though ;)

I better wrap it up :) I'm at uni, I just really badly wanted to finish this entry as it has been sitting in my drafts for a week now.

xoxo <3 have a lovely day :)

Lookbook.nu account :)

I know I hardly write anymore, and I'm sorry! I have so much going on at uni and in my social life that I just don't seem to find time for myself anymore. I'm not sure what it was that made me think , "oh let's blog today" but then I had an urge to make a lookbook...so I did ;).

So guys, this is what I wore today! The top collage is what I uploaded to lookbook, the bottom two are so serious haha I swear I look like a horse in the one on the left :P. I wore this today to uni and to take my resume into a place called Dissh near my uni, wish me luck :D I really need a new job! No money means no new clothes or anything :( so upsetting because I could really use a whole heap of new bags and accessories...possibly a few new pairs of shoes?...Maybe?
My bracelet was a gift...a hand-made gift too :D from a really good friend back in Europe, I've had it for ages now and I love it she glued a crotchet ribbon on it and it looks great, I also have a pink beaded bracelet on..I'm not sure what stones they are but my dad got them for me, I have so many of them I have a jade one as well which is a beautiful green colour that I plan on wearing a lot this summer. I'll ask my dad what sort of stone this is, because I know they're remedial :). The sheer cape I'm wearing is one of my fave pieces at the moment! It's so lovely, falls so great and gives off this pj vibe :P like I just got out of bed and decided to go somewhere in my pjs. It's most girls dream to be able to go out in comfy pjs and be called stylish, and the least bit insane. I have another one as well which is a little shorter, in a sheer fabric with red flowers on it, you're bound to see it sometime soon.
My bag , I got it from forever new, it wasn't in the picture on lookbook but it cost me $60 :) so pretty! It's perfect for uni because I can fit my iPad in it, wallet, water, phone and still have room left. I wore a pair of white sandals I got from Europe :)
If anyone out there is thinking, "gee I've seen that top on a 14 year old the other day I swear..." then you probably may have, because indeed it is from SUPRÉ. You can't deny that when you're on a strict budget, their basics are heaven sent! Their other clothes have improved heaps over the last four years I didn't even want to set foot in their store. They have some really nice things now, nothing flashy that you would go "whoa that's so different I haven't seen that anywhere else" but ones that you would team with more busy pieces. For pieces I could melt in the sight of I go to Forever New, Bardöt, Sportsgirl (if I want something more hippy or indie) etc. My fave is Forever New though, they have my style all over the place in that store...although my bank account fears for it's life when one is in sight haha. Boxing day is coming up though girlies ;) so I'm going to get a job asap so I can hurry up and save up for it already! I just posted a status on facebook telling everyone not to buy me any presents, instead give me money :P ehehe. I'm one to buy meaningful presents and I appreciate them a lot, but I haven't saved up much this year so I'm going to need all the help I can get :(.

I think that's all for tonight my pretties, maybe even a little too much!
Have a lovely Tuesday everyone :)

My NYX wishlist

I have been MIA for a while now, I realise that :p. But I'm back :), I realised a week ago that I need to start doing things again that make me happy. I stopped doing many things I liked because my relationship started going downhill I couldn't concentrate on many things, and then we broke up, then you have that stage when you just don't want to do anything at all! Oh it was terrible, and I'm sure all you girls know what I mean. I mean, honestly, put your hands up if you've ever felt like this after a breakup. It's the worst feeling, but I knew it would wear off very soon, and it did and now I'm back and all shopped out! So here come the new outfit posts, clothing hauls, my rants about my love for designers and something new I thought I would try make-up tutorials! My best friend said I should start making YouTube videos, because she says I'm really good at doing my make-up and I thought I might as well :) I have nothing to lose. So I'll post them on here as well and you can tell me what you think.

I always hear girls rant on about the make-up brand NYX whether it be a lip stick, blush or eyeshadow pigment. I thought I would go on the hunt to see how much these little babies cost, and believe it or not it's as cheap as the amount of times I heard people rant on about it. I bought lip sticks for $7, lip pencils for $4 and eyeshadows for $6. So cheap! And they work so much better than drugstore brands. I don't want to hate on any brands but I'm not the biggest fan of ones like Revlon or Maybelline. They're overpriced in Australia for the quality they bring.

I posted a few things I got on my facebook, but the photos aren't the best quality so I don't want to put them on here :) I think I'll start with the eyes! That's the second thing I always do after the base.
5-Colour Eyeshadow Palette in "I Dream of Barbados"
First off, my fave selection of eyeshadows right now in one palette! The picture doesn't give justice to the amazing colours I can assure you. I'm usually afraid of pink pigments on my eyes, because they can easily make you look like you have some sort of icky eye infection, but this one is so lovely and professional that I fell in love straight away. These colours are so lovely! I was able to go out partying saturday night using four of these colours alone :) so lovely and they stayed on the whole night. The name of the palette is also so cute! Whenever I tell someone or see the packaging it makes me smile :) I want to buy a few other ones from this palette selection as well because they're just so nice. In the US it's only $8.75 for a palette meanwhile it's $16.99 here :( but these are still much cheaper than many other quality brands.
Glitter Cream Palette in "Ice Queen"
I would just like to say, do not put these on top of powder eyeshadows girls! I made that mistake on saturday night, not being sure of how creamy they would be and they were pretty solid, so I had to redo my right eye on saturday night :( But these do look really really nice on, just not with powder eyeshadow as you can't blend them properly so it just looks silly. This only cost me $9.95, so again they're quite inexpensive for the quality they bring.

I also bought a black eyeliner, which I also love :) it's just a simple black eye pencil. It's quite creamy, but not creamy enough to smudge so I would definitely recommend it :)

And now, ta daaaaa onto the lips!
Lip Smacking Fun Color in "617 - Summer Love"
I opened this at the shops, right after I bought it to try it out, and I accidentally broke it. It was so embarrassing because I didn't realise until after I went to put it away. It is the creamiest lip stick I have ever come across. So good! And it's really good on winter days when your lips are looking for some moisture. Opt for this lip stick if you want something creamy and soft :) The colour is also lovely, I have been looking for the perfect nude for a year and I have found it.
Jumbo Lip Pencil in "712 - Plush Red"
Yummy colour! But also full of colour, so girls please be careful when putting on and make sure not to do it in the car haha speaking from experience it's really hard to get it off.
Jumbo Lip Pencil in "704 - Hot Red"
Also such a nice colour, it reminds me of Dita Von Teese, she always has beautiful pin up makeup with the nicest shade of red lip stick. I actuall lost my original one I bought a few days after buying it but I replaced it! That's how much I love it :)
Lip Smacking Fun Color in "592 - Baby Pink"
Also the same amount of creaminess as the top one, and it's such a nice colour. More shimmery than it is in the picture, and it's not too noticeable when on but it's really nice when you have dramatic eyes.

Don't these colours just make you want to jump out of your chair and run to buy them? :D I don't often like a make-up brand too much, they never really get my attention, but NYX has lovely colours and is good quality! :)

Hope I encouraged some of you to buy something from their range ;)

Have a lovely day everyone :)

Blake Lively, and her amazing hair!

Have you ever noticed that Blake Lively always looks flawless? Her style is to die for, and her hair is always sexy. Right now, everyone is talking about her beautiful look at the BAFTA's :), so pretty! What made me notice it more is her hair. I'm always jealous of her hair styles in gossip girl, and have numerously copied many of them (with a lot of compliments might I add).
I think part of the reason this look caught my eye is because I'm a big fan of plaits and braids. They make an up-do look so romantic and girly :) I will definitely try this one out, if I do I'll post it :)

I'm not sure, but I really hope she's wearing underwear :) No one wants to pull a Britney at any red carpet event. Her dress has the most amazing details on it and the colour is so elegant, reminds me of a modern wedding dress. Her gossip girl outfits, even though those would be styled by a professional, are so great I tend to recreate them as well :P
Her earrings are so big! I can only imagine the pain that would come with this piece :)
I best be off, the weather is amazing today so I think I'm going to lay outside for some sun :) make sure to put on plenty of sunscreen if you're planning to go outside this summer :)

Have a lovely Tuesday everyone :)

Gombold Újra!

I say Fashion Show, you say 'Oh, that's only for the celebs' then I say pfft! Keep dreaming sister, I was there and I'm no celebrity ;).

Okay, so I may not have been to this particular one, I was still in Australia at this time, but my dad was, and that's close enough. My dad is a part time photographer, part time business man. He took the following lovely shots (unless stated otherwise). These shots were taken at a fashion show called 'Gombold Újra', you can take google translates words for it, or mine (mine's better ;) ) , but this simply means 'Button it up again" not some fancy name, but the photos you're about to see are seriously nice. The clothes were designed AND sewn by young aspiring Hungarian designers. Seriously amazing what these people have done :) I admire peolpe who can sew amazingly, because it really takes some time to learn the tricks of the trade. If anyone has ever tried sewing their own clothes from scratch without help, they are nodding right now knowing what I'm blabbering on about over here.

Anyways, these clothes are amazing!! The theme was to take traditional Hungarian clothing, and to make their own, that would have the same feel. I've picked out a few of my faves (okay maybe a bit more than a few, but it was really hard to resist, it's like shoes you just can't pick!) and put them up here, you tell me what you think! If there are any outfits in particular that has caught your eye, or you want to know more about the lovely designer, let me know, I'm sure my dad can let me know who is behind it :)
This one really stood the closest to traditional Hungarian clothing in my opinion. All this would be missing is a little less orange and more green. I liked this one because it looked traditional, yet it had a modern edge to it. In my opinion, trends haven't changed too much, it's been a huge cycle. Floral! It's there, and it was there a hundred years ago as well, plus, it was all handmade.
These two dresses made me go gaga over them! The colours look so great, the dresses are modern but they look traditional in a few ways. The designer really nailed these two in my opinion. The red stockings are amazing with these dresses. I don't think I would wear these out anywhere, they would need to be toned down a bit of course, but the styling of it looks amazing.

I'm not sure how this has oh so much to do with any sort of traditions, but I know that it looks really great. Perhaps the flower pattern on the front one? I'm amazed at the simplicity of these three designs, yet the amount of style that there is between them (it's a lot I can tell you that). Odd combination of colours, I don't prefer to team two brights with one dark, but it's seemed to work.
Oh my, how this hit close to my heart! Everything about this looks trendy and so right now, but I guess that's what designers are for :P. This little piece I could imagine wearing to the beach, I love the hair for the model in the middle. So simple and cute.

PRINTS PRINTS PRINTS! Soo this season, and the past few for that matter. I love those tights, don't we all though? Please, object if you don't think the tights look cool. I don't think I would wear it, but it looks great on the model and with that ensamble. The teeny tiny print dress is just adorable, I would definitely wear that, same with the tops towards the back. I want to know where to buy these pieces. Showing them on the catwalk is just plain mean teasing!!
Ruffles nomnomnom! Who wouldn't agree. She actually looks a bit like a cake, I would want it a bit toned down if i was to wear it, but it looks really nice, the main concept of it I love.
My jaw dropped with i saw the outfit at the front! Didn't yours? The skirt, the sheer blouse omg! This was styled amazingly, the strapless sweetheart neckline top looks amazing under the sheer blouse.
The floral prints, are a hit every season I would say. I don't know one season in the past couple of years where I've been told NOT to wear floral because if I do then I might as well walk down the runway of shame.

SHOES! Need I say more? :) Girls love shoes, especially when it's being carried by lovely shoeless models ehehe
Red+black! Reminds me of kids movies when I was little, if they had a devil in it, it looked like these girls! Okay, maybe not like these girls...but the colours anyway. If I had to style some modern musical that had a devil in it, I would choose these chic outfits.
So chic, so traditional. Maybe not the colours, but the designs are terrific. It's amazing how a particular country's traditional clothing can be modernized in such a trendy way. Btw, those little boots boots? I want!

All these outfits are so amazing! I loved them, all the designers are just so talented, and I'm sure they will make it a long long way. To design these clothes is one thing, but to make them, oh my that would be insane :)

Have a lovely lazy Sunday, signing off at 1.47am..I'm a trooper :)

Sheer sexy

These pictures are from yesterday :) my Nana has a cute little weekend house up in the mountains, and we went there for the day, it's so nice there the weather was amazing (unlike today). Theres a tiny river, or stream whatever you want to call it that flows through the whole city and she's lucky enough to have it come through right behind her little weekend home :) so cute!! The water was so clear it was so pretty :)
I wore:
Shorts: H&M for about $10AUD (they were on sale a couple of days ago ;)
Blouse: Supré, I think these cost me $15AUD a while back like half a year ago, I don't normally shop there because I don't like their clothes, it's all overly mass produced to the point where you can't find anything you won't see on a 13 year old. All aside I really liked this blouse, it's so flowy and it was really cheap :)
Sunglasses: Christian Dior, but these ones are probably around 20-30 years old lol my step dad bought it on ebay as a vintage, it says it was made in Germany, not sure how old it would be but I love it :)
Earrings: H&M, this was part of a set of three :) this one was so pretty!! There was also one that was a turquoise (they're not feathers, just studs), a colour I'm absolutely head over heels for at the moment and a pair of simple silver ball studs :)
Under the blouse I'm wearing an minty olive green bikini top from Quicksilver. I saw so many girls on chictopia wearing a bra under sheer blouses like the one I'm wearing, and I thought I put my own little twist on it with one of my favourite bikini tops. It's really funny that I needed new bikinis and right when I said those exact words to my mum we bumped into a surf shop where just for the day everything was 50% off :) so lucky! I always have such good luck when I go shopping. I love this look, the bikini top under the sheer blouse is so sexy in my opinion :). You can't really see the bikini top in the pictures though :( which is quite upsetting, because I really wanted to show everyone that YES I was able to pull something off with my own twist! Too bad it won't happen today :(

Have a great Sunday afternoon everyone, I hope yours is just as lazy as mine has been :)

First Pretty Goodness :)

I've had blogs, journals, everything before, but I never kept up with them :S.
I figured if I started a fashion blog, I would keep up with it, and regularly check back and update as I love fashion, clothes all those pretty thing :). I already have a chictopia account, so please if you have time to spare have a look at it, add me as a friend, vote, comment, whatever you feel like :)
I'm not too sure what to write here now :) I don't want to write a whole bunch of things about myself, I guess you will just have to find that out on your own in time, if you keep checking back in.

Currently I'm in Hungary for two months, but I live in Australia :) The clothes here are so much different, they hardly have any of the same clothing stores here as they do over there, but I like it because I can splurge a little and blame it on the fact that I will never be able to see that dress again if I don't buy it now :P I've come across some really nice things, especially at H&M. My favourite right now are these white high waisted shorts with really nice detail. I'll make sure to upload a picture as well, but it's all on my chictopia blog :)

I think this may be all for today, but todays weather has been up and down, so I may or may not dress up and take pretty pictures :)

Have a lovely day everyone :) xoxo
